The 2022 Holiday Collection: Comfort & Joy

After losing my best buddy and constant companion, Marco, earlier this month, I must admit I struggled to find the spirit to follow through with my original plans for this collection. Instead, I tapped into the pieces that brought me some comfort. Luckily that work sparked a few new ideas, some inspiration, and even a little bit of joy.

My hope is that this new set of everlasting gifts brings some comfort and joy to your home this season too!

Here’s a bit more about the pieces and what inspired me to create them.

Comfort

Collection-worthy symbols of the holiday season in a merry and bright color palette

Mistletoe & Holly

Back by popular demand! Based on the tradition of gifting wreaths and boughs of holly to loved ones for good luck, I’m bringing back the small holly rings from last year. They are perfect for topping gifts, as ornaments on trees, or for miniature displays. Perfect for gifting or bringing good luck into your own home.

And once again, I’m offering my mistletoe bundles. These come boxed, ready to gift or store, and are one of my biggest sellers yearly.

Tabletop Trees!

I’ve made a few iterations of these trees over the years, but these are my largest yet! With the addition of a simple wooden base, they are even more versatile and easy to display. I love the new look and can’t wait to add these around my house this year too!

Snow Globes

These vessels are still a bit more challenging to come by than they used to be, so I’m focusing on one design. I based it off of one of the all-time favorites from the past. And just to make things a little more special, I incorporated a few teeny-tiny flecks of colorful confetti into the snow mixture I made this year!

Joy

Celebrating the treasures of the season with one-of-a-kind touches and sparkling tones

Mini Trees

Given my short supply of snow globes, I finally decided to give in to one of my most common requests of the season—mini trees! And to make them extra special, these pieces are made from hand-painted sheets of the fanciest metallic crepe in the world. These trees are magically sparkly like gemstones—what a joy! Pick your favorite set or one of each to complete the whole spectrum.

Shining Star Wreath

Speaking of sparkle! I’ve had these star-shaped rings set aside and waiting for this since June! I had a different plan, but after a long walk a couple of weeks ago, where I found myself mindlessly collecting leaves, I came up with something new. I realized I wanted to commemorate these beautiful fall colors, but with a little extra shine. I think this piece will flawlessly mix into your cozy holiday decor and be just as beautiful on display the rest of the year too.

Winter Gems Ornament

I came across these vases early in the spring and immediately thought they’d be just perfect as fancy Christmas ornaments. I paired them with my favorite resilient and beautiful wintery blooms: hellebore, juniper berries, and little springs of Lady’s Thumb, another last-minute inspiration found popping up along my walks.

That should do it!! I’d love to hear what you think. Or better yet, since deadlines will be here before we know it, I’d love it if everyone got their orders in early!

Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays!
