A few months ago, an editor at Richmond Magazine reached out to see if I would be interested in sharing some of my wedding creations for an upcoming article. I asked if I was happy to do so, and then with the hubbub of the holidays, I forgot all about it! 

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed an even higher than usual surge in emails about my Paperversary bouquets. I didn’t think anything of it at first. Summer weddings aren’t quite as popular as other as spring and fall, but they’re still prevalent. Nothing unusual. But the recurring dates seemed mysterious.

So I did a little digging and discovered this article: “27 of the Best 1st Anniversary Gift Ideas That Will Make Your Partner Swoon.” And sure enough, BRIDES put my Paperversary bouquets on the list!

I just returned from a little field trip down to the WTVR CBS6 studios here in Richmond, where I was honored to be a guest on Virginia This Morning. This was my first appearance on TV where I wasn’t playing basketball and ran a real risk of accidentally swearing on live TV. So all things considered, I think it went beyond great!

Back in October R•Home Magazine’s editor asked me if I’d like to do a Q & A for their upcoming issue. Flattered, I agreed (of course!). I love talking about paper flowers (or really all flowers!) to anyone who will listen.

Less than two years ago I found a stash of my old crepe paper and decided to dust off an old hobby. I quickly discovered that in the years that had passed, a whole new world had opened up. I found an article listing amazing artists creating magic out of crepe. I wanted to do what they were doing. I wanted to be like them! 

I'm so flattered to be included in another Richmond-area holiday gift guide. This one is loaded with great finds from local makers, including many that may sound familiar if you read my post from earlier this week. (Great minds think alike!)

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of chatting with the creative force behind Richmond's newest lifestyle blog, RVA Living. She asked me some great questions about how I manage my multiple businesses, where I look for inspiration, and if I could name my favorite flower—so hard!

A few weeks ago I had a lovely chat with an editor at Richmond Magazine who was nice enough to write a little blurb about Paper Rose in the current issue of Richmond Bride. Issues are available with Richmond Magazine subscriptions or on newsstands now! 

Amidst their big announcement (a women's collection!—oh?) Ledbury made my day by including Paper Rose in their Mother's Day gift guide this morning. Better yet, I'm listed right along with my BFF's, House of Floralie. That's some excellent company if I do say so!
